To describe people from our family we have to learn that personal pronouns are very important in English grammar.
Let´s remember that we need to add and "S" to the verb when talking about HE / SHE OR IT. SOME EXAMPLES:
My father likes cooking a lot. (HE)
My sister likes reading at the library. (SHE)
My dog has a very long brown tail. (IT)
